Mike has a long history in developing applications for county
governments. Mike's early work laid the foundation for
KellPro, Inc founded in 1993 by his oldest son, Tim. Mike moved his county
treasurer tax and bookkeeping systems
to Keller's Programming Services in 2001. Today he works out of
his home office in Duncan, Oklahoma where he lives with his
wife, Brenda and daughter, Emily. Emily answers his
office phone when she isn't in home school. His three grown children
and eight grandchildren, part of a close-knit family, live nearby.
He prides himself on
friendly service and tries not to act too much like a
"programmer." Mikes says, with him what you see
is pretty much what you get. He says his goal is to make "his" counties
proud they chose his system and to make the rest sorry they
didn't.
He hates "slow" web pages and automated telephone
answering systems. He admits that he isn't very concerned
about how things "look". He likes figuring out data
puzzles and works best under pressure.
